Very nice but chose Remote Assistance

I hate to say it (because I favor Open Source) but after installing, decided to use Remote Assistance.

Imagine there's a Windows User on a remote machine who needs my help.

To use RA, he can send me an email (or IM) requesting RA, and the RA subsystem will figure out how to penetrate all the NATs (and usually the Windows Firewall).

To use t-VNC, the user must download and install the server, AND MUST FIND OUT WHAT external IP he is using, outside the NAT. That last step requires a separate visit to ShiedsUP or a similar site --- and that often doesn't work.

If t-VNC could solve this initial handshake problem, I'd prefer it.

Author's Response:
t-VNC is not compatible with Vista. Try to use Ultr@VNC (http://www.ultravnc.com ) clone instead.
